ABOUT ME

I'm Eden, a 20 year old sports journalism student at Bournemouth University - studying in my final year of the BA (Hons) Multimedia Sports Journalism course. I take a great interest in various forms of sports and media but this website will focus on my love for motorcycle racing and the highs and lows of the sport.

This website will focus on the final major multimedia project (MMP) where I will be looking into the development of a MotoGP rider from junior categories all the way to the Grand Prix ladder, and addressing the question: why is there no British interest in MotoGP?

I am fortunate enough to have been able to attend the British Motorcycle Grand Prix for the last three years and have some great memories from watching the sport: most notably seeing Aleix Espargaro win on an Aprilia live in the flesh and Jake Dixon's home heroics from this year.

I have also attended the Day of Champions, which is the official MotoGP charity in my time at Silverstone, and have been fortunate enough to talk with broadcasters, team bosses and riders over three years. Through this I have been able to meet some of my favourite riders (including Celestino Vietti on the left) and many of the world champions (including 2024 champ Jorge Martin on the right).
